TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By registering, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Registration: Registration is done through the registration form for at least one lesson block (10 weeks) or, in the case of mid-term registration, for the remaining part thereof. After the completion of a lesson block, the lessons are automatically extended to the next lesson block of 10 weeks. If you decide not to continue with a new lesson block, you can unsubscribe by email between the 6th and 8th week. All students will receive timely information about this unsubscription moment via email.

Trial Lesson: A trial lesson lasts 20 minutes and costs €4.95. Please let us know within 48 hours after the trial lesson if you want to continue. If you participate in the second lesson, the registration remains valid indefinitely. Trial lessons are for introduction and obtaining personal advice.

Presentations: Twice a year, Rock’n’Roll High School holds a showcase where students can present their skills on stage. To participate, you must have attended at least 15 lessons at Rock’n’Roll High School. Participation is free and optional but exclusively reserved for students who meet this requirement. Students who couldn't participate in the previous block's showcase due to insufficient attended lessons will have the opportunity to participate in the next block.

Rescheduling/Cancellation of Lessons: Lessons cannot be rescheduled or canceled by the student. For individual lessons or a 5-ride ticket, the participant and Rock'n'Roll High School jointly determine the execution dates of each lesson. Lessons can be scheduled up to 8 weeks in advance. Once scheduled, lessons can be changed free of charge up to 5 days before the respective date. Requests for changes must be submitted in writing. Lessons canceled due to the teacher's illness will be replaced or made up.

Payment: Tuition fees are collected through automatic debit. If this debit is rejected or cannot take place due to insufficient funds, we will send a reminder invoice that must be paid manually. If this invoice is also not paid within the specified period, a second reminder will be sent, and we will charge 10% reminder fees. The due tuition fees are collected in 3 monthly installments in case of following a full lesson block of 10 weeks. The debits always take place around the 25th of the month. Students who have not fulfilled their payment obligation will not be placed in the next cycle. For current prices, please visit www.rocknroll-highschool.nl/tarieven.

In case of mid-term termination/cancellation of the course, tuition fees are still owed for the remaining block (10 weeks). Only in cases of moving to another residence or prolonged illness of the student with the submission of a doctor's certificate can an exception be made. Requests for this should be submitted in writing to the administration.

If, after a reminder, the due amount is not paid, the collection will be handed over to a collection agency. The administrative costs of the reminder and the costs of the collection, including extrajudicial costs, are the responsibility of the obligor.

Placement: Placement is done in order of registration. The earlier the registration, the greater the chance of placement. Registration is possible throughout the year, but placement is not guaranteed. Group workshops must have a minimum number of students. In case of insufficient registrations, timely notice will be given. Non-placed students will be placed on a waiting list and will be given priority for available spots. Rock'n'Roll High School reserves the right to refuse a student access to a cycle with the provision of reasons.

Privacy Statement: Students of Rock’n’Roll High School are aware of our privacy statement.

Force Majeure Situations: In extraordinary circumstances where classrooms are unavailable (such as fire, flood, pandemic), the registration cannot be stopped. There is no right to a refund of tuition fees. Rock'n'Roll High School will work with the student to find a suitable solution, such as online lessons or makeup sessions.

Liability: Rock'n'Roll High School is not liable for the loss or damage of personal belongings. It is recommended not to leave them in public spaces.

Miscellaneous: Some lessons may involve annoying or harmful noise, such as percussion. Hearing damage is irreversible and occurs gradually with exposure to sound above 80 dBA. The use of hearing protection is recommended, and the costs are the responsibility of the student.

Finally: Rock'n'Roll High School reserves the right to make changes to the activity offering during a block. Refund of tuition fees will take place if activities do not take place. Organizational changes are reserved for Rock'n'Roll High School. No rights can be derived from any errors in the text.
